In the rooms of the Office of Public Works in Dublin, President Toomas Hendrik Ilves is opening an exhibition compiled by the Museum of Estonian Architecture entitled “History Reflected in Architecture”.
The exhibition is offering a panoramic overview of Estonian architecture across the centuries. Each epoch is being introduced by a brief summary of events and processes having most impacted on the history of Estonia and all that is complemented by comments on architectural objects. In the framework of the exhibition, a public lecture is taking place at the auditorium of the National Gallery of Ireland; the lecturer is the Director of the Museum of Estonian Architecture and the curator of the exhibition, Karin Hallas-Murula.
