DOING BUSINESS - WHY ESTONIA?

31.01.2010
Estonia is a small and vibrant country that lies on the shores of the Baltic Sea. Over the years, long before joining the EU in 2004, Estonia adapted its liberal trade and investment laws to conditions in Western Europe. Both domestic and foreign enterprise and capital are ensured equal opportunity, thus promoting foreign trade.
Today, Estonia's open and stable economy is characterised by adaptability and innovation with lots of Nordic influence. Even in economically turbulent times Estonia has kept a balanced fiscal stability and as evidence of that by the end of 2009 Estonia reached the last, Maastricht inflation, criterion required for securing the approval in June 2010 to join the euro zone from 2011. Adopting the Euro will further enhance the countrie's trade and tourism and will generate more possibilities for businesses.
Extensively favorable business environment makes Estonia an excellent base for doing business. Welcome to positively surprising Estonia!
